avitt’s Future with Trump Admin Revealed After Pregnancy Announcement

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced last week that she and her husband are expecting their second child, leading many to question whether she would remain in her role with the Trump administration. Now, the president’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, has answered that question.

In an interview with Fox News, where she hosts a weekly show, Lara revealed that Leavitt will not only remain in her position as press secretary but she predicted that Leavitt would not take much time off after she has her child and will likely return to her duties quickly.

“Karoline Leavitt is a machine, she’s going nowhere,” Lara told host Lisa Booth, going on to say that Leavitt quickly returned to the Trump campaign after the birth of her son Niko last year.

“My husband and I are thrilled to grow our family and can’t wait to watch our son become a big brother,” Leavitt told Fox News Digital last week.

“My heart is overflowing with gratitude to God for the blessing of motherhood, which I truly believe is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth,” she said.

Leavitt said she is thankful for the support she has received from the president and senior White House leadership.

“I am extremely grateful to President Trump and our amazing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their support, and for fostering a pro family environment in the White House,” Leavitt told Fox News Digital.

“Nearly all of my West Wing colleagues have babies and young children, so we all really support one another as we tackle raising our families while working for the greatest president ever,” she added.

Leavitt said she is looking ahead with excitement to the year ahead both personally and professionally.
