Senate Restores Sovereignty with Historic ‘Born in America Act’

WASHINGTON — In a midnight session that will be remembered as a turning point for the Republic, the Senate successfully passed the "Born in America Act." Championed by Senator John Neely Kennedy (R-LA), the historic legislation restores absolute national sovereignty by mandating that

only natural-born citizens may hold federal office.

The act, passed to cure a long-standing vulnerability in the nation's leadership, effectively bars individuals with past or present dual citizenship from serving in Congress, the Cabinet, or the Judiciary.
